Voice-Activated AI on Mobile
Voice-Activated AI on Mobile
Lawyers and staff are often between appointments or in court, making it difficult to type long queries into a mobile device. Cogent CRM now offers full two-way voice interaction on mobile, allowing you to speak your questions and hear the assistant's response out loud.
- Open the Ask AI feature on your mobile device.
- Tap the microphone icon on the message bar.
- Speak your question or instruction.
You can interrupt the assistant mid-sentence by speaking, and if you use a Bluetooth headset, the system will automatically handle echo cancellation for a smooth conversation.

- Hover over a widget and click the three-dot menu, then select Edit.
- In the Configure tab, edit the widget title or set a date range override under Advanced Settings.

- Click Save to apply your changes.
Tip: Use Comparison mode to see your current performance side-by-side with the previous period or last year.
Improved AI for Workflows

Automated workflows are essential for managing client communications, but inaccurate AI outputs can lead to errors like misrouted contacts or incorrect tagging. Cogent CRM has updated its workflow AI with more advanced models that provide more accurate, cleaner, and more cost-effective responses.
- Add or open an AI Agent or GPT action within your workflow.
- Open the Model dropdown menu.
- Select GPT-6 Sol for complex, multi-step tasks requiring reasoning.
- Select GPT-6 Luna for high-volume, simple tasks like summarizing or tagging.
- Save and Publish your workflow.
Using the Luna model for simple tasks can significantly reduce your operational costs while maintaining high accuracy.
Secure Conversation Attachments
Secure Conversation Attachments
Protecting client confidentiality is a top priority for any law firm. To enhance data security, Cogent CRM is updating how conversation attachments, such as email files, are accessed. This change ensures that sensitive documents cannot be accessed via simple, direct links by unauthorized applications.
For most staff members, the day-to-day experience will remain unchanged. However, if your firm uses third-party applications that pull data from your conversations, those developers must update their permissions to maintain access. This transition period will continue until November 30, 2026.

- Click on an image to open the preview modal.
- Use the zoom controls or your scroll wheel to enlarge the image.
- Click and drag to pan around the zoomed-in image.
- Use keyboard shortcuts to enter full-screen mode for a detailed view.
Tip: You can reposition the floating toolbar if it obstructs your view of the image.

Cogent CRM now includes a Global Search feature in the Media Library to help you find files instantly regardless of where they are stored.
- Navigate to the Media Library.
- Use the Global Search bar to type the name of the file you are looking for.
- View the full folder path in the list view to see exactly where the file is located.
